Unauthorized Access to Your Personal Information.

We are writing to inform you about a recent security incident involving your personal information held by Dr A.L.L. Van Wyk Inc. We take the privacy and security of your data very seriously and sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause.

What Happened? On 10/06/2026 we detected a security compromise where an unauthorized party gained access to our systems. Based on our investigation, this breach occurred on or about 10/06/2026.

What Information was involved? The unauthorized party may have accessed the following categories of your personal information: Full Names Identity Numbers Contact Details / Email Addresses Medical Aid Information. As a result of this exposure, there is a risk that this information could be used for identity theft or phishing scams.

What We Are Doing: We have taken immediate action to secure our systems and prevent further unauthorized access. Our team has:

• Isolated the affected servers and changed all administrative credentials,
• Appointed external cyber Security experts to investigate the root cause,
• Reported the incident to the Information Regulator and relevant law enforcement agencies.

What You Can Do (Mitigation Measures) to protect yourself from potential misuse of your data. We strongly recommend that you: Remain cautious of unsolicited communications (calls, SMSs, or emails) asking for personal or financial details. Change passwords: Update passwords for your online accounts, especially if you reuse passwords across multiple sites.

Please note that we will never share our banking details over an e-mail. Our Banking details are displayed on all Statements in PDF format.

Please phone us on 017 826 0854 or 082 889 2589 if you are uncertain about our banking details. WhatsApps are encrypted and are therefore a safer way to share banking details.
